Human Rights activist by virtue, Maisam Iltaf is APA’s Program Manager. He has a rich background in project management, technical training, and proposal writing. He has led various leadership and youth engagement programs such as the Youth Leadership Program and co-organized the first Model UN in Afghanistan. A recipient of UNDP’s N-Peace Award (2019), Maisam is the Co-founder and former President of Rahila Foundation, a non-profit working for youth empowerment through quality education and capacity building. Maisam’s articles have appeared on Al Jazeera English, The Diplomat Magazine, and Global Voices.
