Afghanistan Photographers Association is organizing Women Photography Workshop in Kabul for Afghan female photographers to hone their professional photography skills and support them carry out NGO assignments. Following the workshop qualified female photographers will also be provided an opportunity to work as a freelance photographer.
Free of the registration fee, this workshop is open for all female photographers across Afghanistan. Please know that APA does not fund the travel expense of applicants applying from other provinces.
Criteria:
- Be female (above 18 years of age)
- Have 1-3 years of photography experience, including knowledge of relevant software, such as Adobe Photoshop
- Own equipment, such as a professional camera
- Be good at English, Dari, and Pashto
- Have strong communication skills
Interested female photographers may submit their Application Package to submit@afghanistanpa.org no later than November 15, 2020. The subject line of your email must be “Women Photography Workshop”. Emails without this subject line will not be considered.

- Portfolio of 12 to 25 images, the images must include a full caption answering the 5Ws. Photos must be in JPEG with sequence filling names like AD-001, AD-002. The size of images must be 72 resolutions with the longest dimension of 1500 pixels
