Ishaq Ali Anis was born in Ghazni province, Afghanistan. From 2008 to 2012, he lived as a refugee in Pakistan’s Quetta, and in 2013, he returned to Kabul to pursue his higher education in the photography department at the Kabul university. Following his graduation from the photography department, he pursued photography as a professional career.

Since 2016, he has worked with several organizations as a photographer, photography trainer, and videographer. He has also worked as a social media trainer and interpreter.
