Milad Hamidi was born in 1995 in Nangarhar province. Due to financial issues, he could not finish his high school. The became interested in the field of journalism and thus attended a six-month training program at the Abar Institute in 201 where he was trained under Mellie Midi, a well-known journalist. Further, Milad attended an intermediate-advanced level photography training at the US embassy in Kabul.
