Using photography as the ultimate and most powerful tool, APA will practice a mix of arts-based and result-based approach to build on and nurture its long narrative to effectively reach a broader and wider audience and become a viable voice for photography in Afghanistan by bringing social awareness and change with visual evidence on issues and events that Afghans face on a daily basis, inciting debate and dialogue for greater impact and creating and enhancing a sense of realism and truth. APA will also seek to create and reinforce more objectivity and collaboration to positively affect perception of the outside world about Afghans and Afghanistan. APA believes this approach is effective because it allows art and photography not only to grow and flourish to affect change and bridge necessary gaps but also contribute to positive societal progress and transformations.
